Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also known as major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects the way you feel, think and behave, and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may not be able to carry out your normal daily activities and you may sometimes feel like life is not worth living. Symptoms
